Barry Hawkins

Barry Hawkins joined our staff as Assistant Pastor whose responsibilities are under the umbrella of Congregational Life as of September 2018. Some of the ministries include: Visitation Care Team, hospital visitation, Agape, Life Groups, and Grief Share.  He received his Graduate Diploma of Pastoral Studies (MTS) through Heritage Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario, graduating in April 2016.  Barry is married to Trish; they have been married for over 30 years.  He has experience working as music director in various churches over the years. He has also been in leadership as an elder previously and recently as Deacon of Congregational Care at Oxford Baptist Church, Woodstock.  Barry’s passion is to care for and help begin the healing process for those who are in grief dealing with the loss of a loved one as he leads a 13 week Grief Share program which is offered twice a year. He also has a concern for the elderly, the sick and shut-ins within our church community.
